A Letter From our Board
Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu
Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim
Dear MCA Community,
I hope this letter finds you all in the best of health and Iman.
With great appreciation and gratitude, I present you with the 2024 Annual Report for MCA Ann Arbor.
In it, you will find highlights of the remarkable accomplishments of our Imam, staff, and dedicated volunteers over the past year. Alhamdulillah.
In this report, you will find a comprehensive overview of the achievements and contributions made by various committees within our organization, which are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our volunteers and community members. From our growing educational initiatives and youth programs to our much-needed facility updates, we have made significant strides in the past year, with still much yet to be accomplished, inshaAllah.
Since our founding over 40 years ago, the strength of our community has always resided in our unity and diversity. With seemingly every nationality and language represented in our congregation, there is no place quite like MCA. As MCA continues to grow, our collective dedication to the principles of Islam and service to one another has allowed us to overcome challenges and achieve remarkable milestones over the past year. In particular, 2024 marked an important stepping stone as we continue our mission to build our center into a “second home” for our children and families.
As you review the 2024 Annual Report, I also invite you to reflect on ways that you can personally serve our community. It is only through our collective efforts that MCA can and will continue to grow into a center that we can be proud of, serving our families and the broader community for generations to come, inshaAllah.
Finally, I want to thank each and every one of you for your unwavering support and dedication to the MCA Ann Arbor. May Allah (SWT) bless our community, grant us unity and strength, and enable us to continue our mission to empower ourselves, our children, and our community to live Islam with utmost clarity and Prophetic character.
Sincerely,
Shihan N. Khan
